2013 Warrior Games
May 11-16. Over 200 wounded and injured service members and veterans will participate in this year’s Warrior Games. The Army, Marine Corps/Coast Guard, Air Force, and Special Operations teams will be joined by one international team from the UK to compete in seven sports throughout the week. Admission to the competitions is free and open to the public.

Calorie labels for restaurants and vending machines?

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has proposed calorie labeling for chain restaurants and similar retail food establishments, as well as for vending machines. The move is a response in part to the obesity problem in the U.S. and is seen as a way for consumers to have consistent nutritional information when they make food choices.
