Has DMAA been banned for use by military personnel?

OPSS Answer

In April 2013 FDA declared DMAA illegal for use as a dietary supplement ingredient, which means that service members should not use dietary supplement products that contain it. For more information from FDA, visit the “DMAA in Dietary Supplements” page of the FDA website. For information about products containing DMAA and for a list of terms to look out for on labels, check out HPRC’s list of Dietary Supplement Products Containing DMAA.
