The Office of the AF Surgeon General oversees the United States Air Force Medical Service (AFMS). AFMS consists of the five distinct medical corps of the Air Force and enlisted medical technicians. The five distinct medical corps are: Biomedical Sciences Corps, Dental Corps, Medical Corps, Nurses Corps, and Enlisted Medics. This is the AF medical service.
The Department of Defense (DoD) Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP) mission is to prevent drug abuse through education, outreach, and awareness programs, and detect and deter DoD civilian and military personnel from using illicit drugs and misusing prescription drugs.

DiLorenzo TRICARE Health Clinic (DTHC) provides compassionate, quality outpatient and preventive medical care to our beneficiaries and first echelon emergency medical support at this national landmark while promoting the personal and professional readiness of the DTHC team.
PHCoE is uniquely positioned to collaborate across the Defense Department, Department of Veterans Affairs and other agencies to provide leadership and expertise, inform policy and drive improvements in psychological health outcomes. The center maintains five core strategic priorities: support the services and combatant commands; improve care quality; increase access, reduce barriers, and encourage optimal use of psychological health resources; advance the science of psychological health; and foster organizational development.
The Real Warriors Campaign promotes a culture of support for psychological health by encouraging the military community to reach out for help whether coping with the daily stresses of military life, or concerns like depression, anxiety and posttraumatic stress disorder. Founded in 2009, the campaign supports the Defense Department’s Psychological Health Center of Excellence in its mission to break the stigma associated with psychological health concerns and encourage those who are coping with a psychological health concern to seek help.
The Semper Fit Human Performance Program provides health education that encourages Marines and their families to increase control over and to improve their full health potential. Health fairs, classes, workshops, and awareness campaigns are some of the activities provided by the Semper Fit Human Performance Program.
The Soldier Recovery Brigade provides leadership, primary care, complex case management, and comprehensive transition planning in support of wounded, ill, or injured (WII) Soldiers. We contribute to the Army’s #1 priority, readiness, by transitioning WII Soldiers back to the force (RTD) or to the civilian sector as Soldiers for Life (SFL).
As the traumatic brain injury (TBI) Pathway of Care manager within the Military Health System (MHS), the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) promotes state-of-the-science care from point-of-injury to reintegration for service members, veterans, and their families to prevent and mitigate consequences of mild to severe TBI. At 21 sites supported by a Washington, D.C.-area headquarters, TBICoE treats, supports, trains and monitors service members, veterans, family members and providers who have been, or care for those who are, affected by traumatic brain injury.

The Force Fitness Readiness Center (FFRC) develops instructors focused on optimizing performance, increasing durability, and maximizing readiness of United States Marines for battle through implementation of the Force Fitness Instructor Program. The FFRC uses contemporary science, subject matter experts, and partners in health and wellness in developing its programs. The vision is a more capable and lethal warfighter that is able to use a holistic approach to sustain physical, mental, and spiritual fitness to endure the rigors of combat.
The mission of the Personnel Studies and Oversight (PSO) Office, in support of the Talent Management Officer of the Marine Corps, will oversee, analyze, assess, and recommend changes to policy to optimize our ability to attract, retain, and properly assign the talent necessary to achieve our institutional and strategic objectives. The Personnel Studies and Oversight Office is administratively supported by Manpower and Reserve Affairs, and reports directly to the Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps.
